ANDA–Panic has gripped townsfolk here after an 11-month old baby girl has been confirmed to have died from the deadly meningococcemia virus. The local health authorities have since identified relatives and other persons who had prior direct contact with the victim and are now being closely monitored.

MALASIQUI–A school supervisor of Malasiqui, the elder brother of Malasiqui Mayor Armando Domantay, can now expect to have a kidney transplant to prolong his dear life. This was made possible through the financial help extended by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo through the intercession of Third District Rep. Rachel Arenas.
