Gilbert E. Garcia, 83, passed away peacefully on December 22. Garcia, youngest brother of the late Ermin Garcia Sr. and PUNCH columnist Gerardo Garcia, was the PUNCH’s chief news photographer from the mid-60s to early 80s. A graduate of cinema photography in the US, joined the US Navy in the early 50s.
