A sure way to upset your air travel plan is turning yourself into a total jerk. Once inside the plane, go check your friend. When you find him holler – HI-JACK!!  You can go closer to ruin by simply alerting airport staffs you have a bomb in your backpack. Normal thinking people loving their freedoms do not behave loosely in public facilities.

Governments around the world recognize these groups (bombers) as terrorists including those who think they are being funny when joking about bombing an airline on flight. Rightly so.

Last week, a veteran senator stood up in congress haughtily advocating that Meralco be bombed? My first thought ‘tinoyo na naman si madam Brenda!’. This is someone aspiring to represent our country in the U.N. International Court of Justice?

OMG, how will she declare those in disagreement with her? ‘Mga inutil kayo? You should get bombed? Heaven forbid because instead of being proud she is representing us, we may need to cover our heads kung doon mababasag ang toyo niya.

A serious question is this, why are airport jokers locked up in jail while a senator encouraging the bombing of a public utility is not being detained? We Filipinos are really in a heap of trouble.

Mr. Chito G. Soriano should read my comments back in 2005 if he wants to know what a Fabella presidency will be like. He might even vote for me once he gets the feeling I am not a thief, cheater and a low down liar.

Mr. Van de Leon:

You are done with PANGALATOK. An achievement true Pangasinenses at heart started . . . to cleanse the language with ignorant and stupid connotations.

How about PINOY? This word is most vile, spewing forth a heritage that’s uncouth, trashy, uneducated, indolent and docile bringing with it the worse in you.

The last gasp of colonialism should be eradicated once and for all. Filipino you stand . . . Filipino you fall.

Balut  Pinoy, anyone?

i never get tired reading edener  benitez fabella’s comments about the present national leadership. edener never runs out of hatred and unnecessary language.

i urge edener  benitez fabella to outline his suggestions or solutions to the problems the next time he sends comments to the forum.

expressing opinions is one of the great attributes of democracy, but opinions bonded with hatred and offensive language is another thing.

I noticed that posters and most people are using the legally and technically correct word to call people from Pangasinan—PANGASINENSE.

Here in Pangasinan .org and Sunday Punch, they no longer use the insulting derogatory Pangalatok which means Pangasinense sira toktok or other words like Pangalatot which means Pangasinense amoy Ut-tot or Pangalatit which means Pangasinense Walay Katit etc.

There is improvement. Statistically, Pangasinenses are one of the most highly educated segments of our population. Let us continue nurturing this value - we value education so much.

This value is also true to the whole Filipino nation. Great Filipino value—amazing. Everybody likes to be educated even through thick and thin. Kahit isanla ang lupa or kalabaw or magtinda na lang ng kaunti, mapag aral lang ang anak.

This value is one of the many values that make Filipinos progressive and great internationally and nationally.

Happy Mother’s Day to all great mothers who sacrifice so much to get their kids educated.

Love of mother for kids is nothing in comparison to love of father to kids in general.

A section in your SP column, Here and There, by Mr. G. Garcia, talks about, “Dagupan City’s booming economy drawing shoppers and tourists from out of the city has left our main streets crowded with more vehicles…… and pollution in the streets arising from the unprecedented number of smoke-belchers taking over.

And you are also urging Mayor Al to get the ball rolling for a plan to reduce pollution in the streets, like encouraging the use of foot-powered 2-wheelers that don’t use gas-gurgling machines.

Well, Big cities in the Philippines should consider going back to Pedi cabs as they were widely used in the late 60’s and 70’s.

Cities in the States like, Austin, TX, NY, Savannah, GA, Boston Mass, San Diego, CA, and many others are in fact using foot power Pedi cabs and it is very popular among affluent and tree hugging Americans.

So, it is time to revisit previous transportation when we were much younger. Pedi cab is environmentally friendly, promotes fitness to the human body, and reduces traffic gridlocks.

Guv Espino and his mayors should look into this idea. Imagine Pangasinan town streets without smoke belching vehicles and that engine noise????

Sounds wonderful already.

Filipino’s misery index can no longer be blamed on the doorstep of Ms. PhD economist par excellence, topnotch second to none and ultimate enchantress.

Both barometer and thermometer on corruption and unabated prostitution of the constitution and laws of the land have long frozen beyond redemption.

These brilliant engineers of corruption isn’t about to stop fleecing the people until their bellies explode in unimagined greed.

Our country is like a battered wife. We have masters who continuously inflict harm yet we don’t complain. They treat us like dogs….here eat kamote they say. It is better than rice if you take it with malungay?

Better yet, why not consider kangkong di kana mahihiya na dyan ka pupulutin. Sell the country piece by piece is okay with us just make sure we get our 3 kilos of darak. While at it, take control of Meralco so you can have another cow to milk.

Yes, the blame is on us Filipinos, no one else. We have expert topsnatchers who makes monkeys out of us and we clap our hands every time they inaugurate a bridge!

Espino and coastal mayors sign covenant for the protection of Lingayen Gulf:

The reporter LM as usual is short on providing the reading public the real report-the link to the covenant so that we can read it. Why did the reporter not ask why the upstream towns were not involved in the covenant?

Is Mr. SPIN saying that pollution protection and control occurs only at the coastal towns?

This is the most stupid environmental protection strategy I have known in my entire life.

What Mr. SPIN is saying is that pollution is OK in Bugallon, San Carlos, Calasiao or Santa Barbara or in any of the upstream towns because they are not covered by the covenant.

Who is the smart environmental adviser of Mr. SPIN?

It’s so lugubrious your dilemma, Ms. Geronimo. But, that’s the expectation you’ll get from “foolishtician” like Espin-off and his ilk whose every move, is foolishticized.

If you don’t get it yet, allow me to clarify what Espin-off is telling the people of Pangasinan -

If there’s no rice . . . eat puto!
