Doctors sponsor PADUGO Golf Tour

Doctor-golfers in Pangasinan recently formed a group and called themselves Pangasinan Doctors United in Golf (PADUGO) to provide an avenue for camaraderie and socialization among themselves. One of the objectives of the club is to raise funds for the charity patients of Pangasinan Medical Society.

Thus, on October 22, 2006 they sponsored the first ever golf tournament at the Bonuan Golf Course open to all golfers from the province and invited friends from Baguio.

On hand to award trophies to winners was the president of the Pangasinan Medical Society, Dr. Marlon Rebosa, together with the president of PADUGO, Dr. Rod Segui.

Villaflor Golf classic XIII bares winners

ED Sorio of Lingayen LTO once again proved his supremacy in local golf as he bagged the lowest gross in the recently concluded Villaflor Golf Classic XIII held last Sunday, September 24 at the Dagupan Golf Course. Scoring just 1 over par inthe par 69 layout, Sorio brought home a handsome trophy, a golf bag, Tileist Pro-V balls and a lot more. Sharing the limelight is a promising golfer Art Andrey of Splash Pharmaceuticals who carded a net score of 58. Other winners were Champ A - Col. Raul Ubando; 1st runner -up- OJ Nolasco; 2nd runner-up- Dr. Toto Juan; Champ B-Boy Balingit; 1st runner-up - Romy Juguilon; 2nd runner up - Rico Dagalea; Champ C - Brian Kim; 1st runner -up Butch Bernal; 2nd runner up-Vice Mayor Alvin Fernandez.

Villaflor golf classic XIII set today

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital ((DDVMH) will host today September 24 the “Barkadahan Golf tournament”, the longest running local golf tour at the Dagupan Golf Course.

Tee off time is set from 6:00 to 8:00 am. Golfers in Pangasinan and from adjacent provinces are expected to join this major tournament.

Dr. Juvy Villaflor, the golfing doctor-son of Drs. Viven and Nene Villaflor,  announced that a brand new car will be at stake,  hole-in-one.

Dr. Gene Torres is closely coordinating with sponsors to ensure the successful staging of the tour.

Winners in CIDG-I golf tourney bared

It was a job well done by gentlemen and officers Col. Federico “Jun” Castro and Col. Manny Velasco for sponsoring the 1st CIDG-I open Golf Tournament last April 2, 2006 at Dagupan Golf and Beach Club.

Can anyone stop this guy Ed Abellera who picked up another Low Gross Award as the over-all champion followed by Supt. Bong Catabay-over-all Net Champion. The other winners are:
