Napolcom probes murder of Urdaneta bemadalled cop

URDANETA CITY—The National Police Commission (Napolcom) is conducting its own investigation on the gun slaying of an intelligence officer of the Urdaneta police station assigned to its office as liaison officer.
The victim, SPO4 Anuario Concepcion, was shot and killed on October 6 by suspects in a red car along the national highway in Barangay Nancayasan here while he was on board a motorcycle.
Lawyer Monday Samson, Napolcom provincial director of Pangasinan, said they are saddened by the murder of Concepcion, whom she described as “one of the very few police officers considered true and worthy as such.”
Samson declined to give details of the ongoing investigation.—Eva Visperas
