Revive the ‘Barakbak’

There used to be a "barakbak" cottage industry during the Japanese occupation.
Purses, mats, slippers, overnight bags with colorful designs were made with barakbak.
Maybe that industry can be revived to produce disposable slippers for tourist hotels.
