Fishermen get free bangus fry

The Department of Agriculture (DA), through the regional office of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), is set to distribute some 1.5 million bangus fry to fish farmers in Dagupan affected by Typhoon Cosme.
Felita Ugaban, agricultural technologist of the city agriculture office here, said the bangus fry dispersal is part of the rehabilitation effort in the fishery sector by the BFAR in the aftermath of the Typhoon that hit the province.
Beneficiaries have been identified in at least 14 barangays in the city.—CSR
