Move on to modernity

SP article, “Dagupan City shares secret of its tasty bangus” could only be proven by scientific method thru the utilization of chromatography.

No one would disprove Historian Restituto Basa for his years of experience but a lab instrument used worldwide for organic and inorganic chemistry analysis is more reliable.

Get a fishpond water sample from all over the country and take it to a reliable laboratory and then only then could anyone make a trustworthy statement. Fair enough?

I wished the Philippines would move on to modernity instead hocus pocus.

Our country being so pervasive in form but drearily short when it comes to substance, Filipinos must take time and listen to what a kamote is telling those perorating on it’s filling powers and increasing popularity.

If a past U.S. president was able to purloin the thunder out of every American giving them hope with a promise there will be chicken in every ports, you Madam President, should have been more innovative in inspiring your countrymen to partake of this great stuff.

Tell them kamote is not just for desert anymore or just another ingredient in halo-halo. Tell them from now, it will no longer just be in ‘garapons’ but served in fine laced china.

Madam President, telling Filipinos they must eat kamote because there is less rice isn’t a PhD thing in you. This sounded like from my Grandma not from an economist.

Let this kamote give you an uplift; “Planting Kamote is always fun, but eating it more is Gloria’s plan!’
