I was born in Banaoang, Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan but grew up in Olongapo City but my heart and mind still there.
We moved out from Sta. Barbara when I was Grade 3. I miss my home town.
I am glad to read some news specially the improvements in Pangasinan.

Why is it that the use of fertilizer not mentioned in your column as a way to improve rice production Dr. Pablico? There was over 700 million pesos investment of the GMA administration and you did not even dare to mention it.

They should put a sign that says “TAPUAC DAM” and “LAKE TAPUAC” where the road is raised.
We should commend these engineers for creating an “engineering marvel”. The residents of Greenfields and Krystaville are very lucky to be living right in or by the lake.

PRIDE OF ILOCOS REGION—The University of Luzon Golden Tigers, with their coach Renato 'Jack' Vidal and assistant coach Jeffrey Gatchalian, are jubilant after winning the 2nd edition of the Men's National Collegiate Athletic Association National Games last March 29. They are the first team ever in Region 1 to bag a national championship.
