Mr. Pontaoe, yes, the readers of Punch Forum are smarter than you think. Believe it or not, this anecdote on George Washington was related to a sermon by Rev. Dieleman.

Like I told you, but you did not believe me, I learned the anecdote from a Sermon on Matthew 5:5 preached by Rev. Adrian Dieleman, so blame him, not me.

Do not tell me, you should tell him instead, with your clouded reasoning, that he is wrong about George Washington, for using him as a meek man which you claim as an unforgivable insult to the memory of George Washington. . the First President of the Republic . . . father of his country, your country and Rev. Dieleman’s country.

You have just proven that I am right in saying that different people discern truth differently. To some people, the word “meek” is a virtue but to others, it is not, they believe that it is a sign of weakness and to Mr. Pontaoe, it is an insulting word. The same guy who thinks that “Pinoy” is a derogatory word.

How clouded can a person’s mind can be to think that the word “meek” is an insulting word despite of the fact that our Beloved Jesus Christ had said, “I am meek and lowly in heart.”?

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” – Matthew 11:29

Remember this Mr. Pontaoe! When you mix religion with no common sense it only clouds your already clouded reasoning.
