Throw them out!

Gloria Arroyo will fall. This event will happen despite efforts of those who continue to prop up her varicose ego and many evil ways. It is unfortunate we have tolerated her abuses this long and not realize the long term effects of corruption for generations to come.

It is time Gloria Arroyo is exiled together with those who treated the country like their exclusive turf and milking cow. When people die of diarrhea and dengue on daily basis, of prison inmates succumbing due to hunger, of government neglect in improving the lives of those devastated by natural calamities and wars, it is only a shameless individual like Gloria Arroyo able to face a beleaguered nation telling one and all - ‘I’m your president and I will finish my term’.

Filipinos must come together and get the job done. We need not solicit help from CBCP, military and police authorities to lead us in exterminating this national malaise. We must never forget names like; Raul Gonzales, Puno, Ermita, Razon, Apostol, Atienza, Bunye, Abalos, Esperon and many others whose salaries we pay from our taxes only to rob us blind as we sleep. We must send a strong message to future leaders we have had enough of criminals and we will be watching them closely.

I say - ‘let’s throw these bastards out now’!

Am sure the government lawyers are aware of “right of eminent domain”. If so, why are they being held prisoner by this individual? Is he/she a GMA crony? It makes you wonder.

Also, is eminent domain mentioned in the Philippine Constitution? It is a good question isn’t it. Hmmm.

Just for clarification, what is right of eminent domain? It is another word for condemnation – the right of the government to take private property for a public purpose, for example, to make way for a road. The Constitution requires the government to pay you fair compensation if it takes your property.

Mr. Brando Garcia,

The late Pope Paul said do not be afraid. But I know having courage is more complex when you made us remember Ninoy.

But here are some questions I ponder from today’s events and I am thinking out loud.

Why is it that the president in the Philippines has all of the marbles?

Does the country really have all of those elected politicians in the house, senate, and judiciary to follow her whims and or her first family?

Why do they need a Lozada or JDV III to find out the dysfunctional procurements in government?

Reading US history while I was a “Johnnies (SJCS)” has shown spectacular downfalls of presidents or vice presidents without people power but by lone maverick senator or prosecutors or even IRS.

Is the Philippine government really that different in structure or just the people?

I also wonder what the take of the people is on the NBN probe. Listening to Undersec Formoso during the “Harapan” TFC program, does he really believe he could convince majority of Filipinos that the Philippine government is so powerless to be dictated on by China when seeking a loan from them or any lender.

Most Pinoys here in US or Canada I hope know that when they get a loan to buy a car that the banks do not dictate where to buy it from. So why would the Philippines get a contract from ZTE just because China said so on Dec 2 2007 that the president had to sign it?

We need to mature politically and economically to shed our colonial mentality. One person could make a difference. Do not wait for your “barkadas kabaleyan” as each individual is responsible for the staying power of the government.

We could not afford to tell our kids anymore that we tolerated the most corrupt government in our lifetime. We tolerated our rights of privacy by trampling us with wiretapping and big brother watching with cameras and full force of government investigation because of difference of opinion.

We tolerated the detention of even one individual because of our inaction due to FEAR.

Remember the safeguarding of single individual rights is for our own. Let each one of us now weigh our safety, for us and our kids.

Mr. Joe Dizon,

I know your frustration. Filipinos are not stupid but afraid to die. If you try to stop these people (corrupt officials), remember, they have goons and guns. Remember the late Sen. Ninoy Aquino?

The recent “PAKULO” ng PANGULO:

GMA lately was into ribbon-cutting ceremonies at two places for a few classrooms. Since 2005, the Congressional committee and the Department of Education identified a shortage of 51,900 classrooms and only 2 billion is allocated yearly. The sad part of it is that in the 11 ODA-funded projects suspended which include the CyberEd project of 26.48 billion pesos, the construction of classrooms was only 45.6 million pesos.

Ms. Ric posted her issue with the prioritizing of projects and Mr. Oriel tried to defend GMA saying that there should be some budget for school classrooms and for Ms. RIC to check it out.

Now this administration, through the Department of Foreign Affairs, wants the OFWs to contribute for school classrooms.

The patriotic OFWs of Saipan recently donated two classrooms for Albay. Remember that most of those projects being prioritized and funded by this GMA (Greed Maximizing Administration) are the large projects in the billions to multi-billion because on the small ones there will a lot of corrupt officials to share the SOP. Maraming papartihan, kung hindi maraming aangal.

What is saddening is that there are only few patriotic Filipinos, the rest are CORRUPT especially among high officials.
