PANGASINAN II DIVISION MEET

Joyland School in San Fabian topped the chess and athletics events in the Pangasinan II Division Meet held January 28-30.

Ernalie Bayot, a grade VI pupil brought home the gold in the Chess Elementary Girls Category.

Bayot defeated Sarah Mae Pandy of the Archdiocesan School of San Fabian who played in Board 2 as her teammate.

Gabriel Angelo Navarro, also a grade VI student of Joyland, also bagged the gold in the boys division.

Myko Montemayor, a senior high school student, won a silver medal.

Meanwhile, in athletics, Joe-Mark Jimenez won two silvers in the Shot Put and Javelin Throw events.#
