THE barangay health workers (BHWs) and barangay nutrition scholars (BNS) in Dagupan City are in for a better deal this year.
They will be paid additional P1,000 monthly allowance beginning January.
This was provided for in Ordinance No. 1903-2007 approved by the city council granting additional allowance to these workers as a form of incentive.

TWO houses went up in smoke in a one-hour fire Thursday dawn in interior Sitio Barrera in Pantal, Dagupan City.
The blaze that started at 1:30 a.m. gobbled up the houses made of light materials owned by Juanito Adap and his son Joselito.
Two other adjacent houses owned by Corazon Quezada and Petra Fernandez were partially destroyed.
