Was it your intention to inform the readers that Mr. Pontaoe had left his abode in Chicago and passed on to a better world? As written, all your references to him are in the past tense. I don’t believe that was your intention but I am sure that when Mr. Pontaoe’s time comes he will always find something to criticize whether it be in heaven or hell. Just kidding.

A happy and prosperous New Year to all. And please, please, emphasize the positives of the Philippines, especially to your non-Filipino friends and don’t dwell on the negatives.
