10th Milo Little Olympics opens Sept. 21 at NRSCC

THE Milo Little Olympics for Luzon, now on its 10th season, unwraps on September 21 at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center in Lingayen.

The annual multi-sporting event for17 year-old students and below will be played in different categories with huge cash prizes, trophies and medals at stake for team and individual honors, according to Tess Bernardino, Luzon overall coordinator.

Athletics, badminton, chess, football, gymnastics, lawn and table tennis, swimming, taekwondo and volleyball games plus a side event on cheer-dance competitions will be participated in by some 4,300 young athletes from Regions 1, 2, 3 and the Cordillera Administrative Region, including representatives from last year’s defending team champion, the Baguio City National High School.

The games will start immediately after the opening ceremony and will continue on September 22, 23, 29 and 30 at the same venue.-JAG,Jr.
