Antisocial personality disorder

By +Oscar V. Cruz D. D.

It is common knowledge among those who engage themselves in the judicial ministry of Ecclesiastical Matrimonial Tribunals that an Antisocial Personality Disorder on the side of either or both parties is a ground for marriage nullity declaration. Reason: They are not capable of complying with the grave and lasting obligations inherent to the Marriage Covenant. While better known before as “Sociopathic” personality constitution, someone with an Antisocial Personality Disorder as now identified by updated Psychiatry, has basically the same socially adverse attitudinal posture and behavioral pattern.

Hi Carmichael Besitan,

Thank you for your comment and your support. I was surprised and glad to hear from a former classmate and a friend.

You’re right I just turned 40 last month and still riding. Cycling is part of my life and enjoying every minute of riding my bike.

I’ve been going to the Philippines often and I formed a team in Pangasinan “PITAKI BOYZ”. I train young riders in Pangasinan who have potential in the future. I have also built house just for them to stay in. I’m happy with the turn-out for what I did for them. They dominate most of the races in Pangasinan and other province in the past two years. I also share the profits I earn from my own business “Jazysportswear” which is based in Guam USA.

All the best… and give my best to your family. Enjoy and keep reading Sunday Punch! More to come…

Dear Mr. Eduardo Pontaoe,

I read your comment August 15 2007. Mr. Carmihael Besitan’s comment was just a happy comment to what he read from an article about his former classmate and friend during High School days.

I don’t need to take a truck load of steroids to race in Le tour de France. Just an FYI, I raced against those big guys at the 1992 Olympic Road Race in Barcelona, Spain and 2000 Olympic road race in Sydney, Australia.

I raced with top Le tour de France riders Lance Armstrong, Jan Ulrich and Alexandre Vinokorouv. And I have not been scrutinized by organizers. Racing in the Olympics and having been a two- time Olympian was a bigger honor for me than racing in Tour de France. Racing in Olympic Games is a WORDLWIDE event, but the Tour de France is a commercial race.

To race in Olympic Games, you’re considered one of the BEST in the world. Being a Filipino and having represented my country GUAM,  was a big achievement for me.

Right on, Mr. Delfin!

The incapability of the police to solve these capital crimes is an abomination on the mind-set of these atrociously unqualified enforcers of the law.

Bataoil, Nerez and the ragtag bunch of these nincompoops are an insult to their profession. They are the most inept of the snake oil salesmen who love the limelight . . . their 15 minutes of fame before the cameras.

Bataoil and Nerez with the stars on their shoulders, all the trappings of power are only for display. The emptiness of what it represents. What a shame!

Pangasinenses watching these fools do their jobs, Bataoil and Nerez are heads over heels, when they present to the media insignificant arrests they made on some lowly cattle thieves, obscure dope pushers and bumbling jueteng collectors.

Murders clogged police blotters without resolutions. The butchery of Resuello of San Carlos is testament on the inefficiency of the police. Three months passed after commission of the rubout . . . shooter in custody . . . nothing happened. The case is thrown on the sides and justice is drowned by the rampaging waters of dirty politics.

To make matters worst, the possibility of the shooter getting shot trying to escape or completely disappearing encased in concrete.

If it were America, we shall have significant results within 24 hours who’s involved. From where the gun was bought to the head honcho.

Vice Mayor Aquino of Mapandan, popped in broad daylight in front of town hall before the eyes of wide-eyed Mapandaneos is now a cold case. Colder than a cat’s nose. Only the Devil could know what happened.

The prosecutors, they’re a bargain. The right amount of lubricant you see wonders done before your eyes like magic. To them the court is where money is made, the bank where tellers are donned in judge’s robe.

Only in the Philippines!

Eduardo Pontaoe,

As you say a soldier you are not. It takes a man to be a soldier.

I spent time in Viet Nam (volunteered) both in the military and later as a civilian. I took action when I thought it was necessary. I didn’t sit back and let someone else do the dirty work.

As you may have gathered, I hold people in very low esteem who arrogantly complain about everything yet have no solution.

As I said in my previous post it’s easy to complain from the safety of 9000 thousand miles away using the internet, it takes guts to go to the Philippines and run for office.

I know you’ll keep complaining while you sit in your easy chair because you know you’ll be safe as long as you do your complaining in Chicago.

Mr. Jerry G. Zapanta,

It is the present Dagupan City administration’s duty to rectify the wrongs that was done by the corrupt former mayor and his cohorts.

If Mayor Fernandez continues to honor the obviously flawed contracts that Mr. Lim had negotiated in behalf of the city, then Fernandez is complicit of the corruption as well. What is wrong is the forgiving nature of people like you who are always willing to give a free pass to corrupt politicians like Lim.

It is time to set a new tone of governance in Dagupan. Mayor Fernandez should go full speed ahead in uncovering all of the previous administration’s malfeasance and corruption and let the chips fall where they may.

It appears that you are dismayed that Urdaneta is about to overtake Dagupan to a first class city status. That, Mr. Zapanta, is no accident.

Doesn’t that tell you that Urdaneta is led by a better group of leaders than Dagupan’s? Accountability to the people and transparency of the city government dealings perhaps?

I agree that the city leaders should think about the future BUT forget about the last election? That Mr. Zapanta, is pure bullcrap.

The present administration should do everything within their power to undo all the anomalies of the previous administration and bring all the corrupt people to justice. That should serve as a deterrent to all the people who are up to no good.

The incompetence of the Tayug police and the PNP provincial leadership in effecting the arrest of the Tayug mayor’s bodyguards is appalling. Was there not a probable cause to effect an arrest shortly after the commission of the crime?

These so called police officers, especially Sr. Supt. Isagani Nerez is a disgrace to the uniform and could not be trusted to enforce the law. How could he not provide his full support to his police chief?

The provincial prosecutor is another incompetent; a person was murdered and he found it that the complaint filed by the police not defensible? Is the prosecutor a moron or what?

Mr. Ermin Garcia, Jr. was right to suggest that these criminals are just biding their time and wait for the witnesses to back out. Justice system and police protection in the Philippines? Only for the rich and politically connected, maybe.

I wonder if the victim was Arroyo’s or the Gov. “Spines” family, how would the wheels of justice would turn then?

Mr. Oriel,

It’s sometime hard to read right. Reading right, you need to think hard & analyze the material before interpreting it.

Please do us a favor and read all of the posters on the subject of the airport. All of us except you, sir were all talking about Ms Jara’s column about the Alaminos international airport.

You continue in your reply to her column by “copying & pasting” the article of unveiling of the 20 year master plan but yet failed to challenge her that it is a mere Dash 9 that will be landing in the airport and the plan was only for a general aviation airfield.

So since you were the one who chose to omit this material in Ms. Jara’s column, why question and assert that it is only a starter airport now? You opened yourself to questions about an international airport at Alaminos.

The other point you missed from the article you sourced out is that the city’s contract with the master planners was unveiled during that Oct day in 2006.

An unveiling of a master plan just like Mr. Carrera pointed out is not the completed plan. It was a concept of the requirements of the city as depicted by the planners. But the concept is not yet the proprietary master plan.

Have you ever had an architect show you his portfolio if you may have business partners who may be motivated to join in the enterprise? This is what the city and the planners are trying to do during the unveiling for investors to join the city’s vision.

The last point on the master planners is that they are in the world’s top 100 because they protect their plans and market it well. They will attend unveilings so they will not lose the contract.

Try to access their planned project and you’ll be referred to their office for details just like all companies that wanted to protect their copyright and proprietary rights.

If the international investors are thinking just like me, Ms. Ric, Mr. Ed, Mr. Jerry, and all those who replied to your posting about an international airport, Palafox will omit it for marketing purpose because how would a paper plane airport look like as Mr. Diosdado pointed out.
