Pangasinan Mayors Suffering From The "PAKULO" Syndrome: Two mayors namely Castaneda of Lingayen, and Velasco of Santa Barbara wants a "WORLD-CLASS" sea port and an 'international airport respectively.
In the case of the proposed seaport, PPA observed that the site is an "open sea with no natural barriers for waves and sea action".
Sual's proposed seaport location is ideal and is not completed up to now. Thanks to the do-nothing former Governor Agbayani. A small boat marina in a secure location is all that is needed in Lingayen, not a WORLD-CLASS PORT.
In the case of the "INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT", I believe that a domestic airport in Lingayen-Binmaley is more than adequate considering that Laoag and Angeles are close by and underutilized. It is not economically feasible-period.
Instead of making these PAKULO, why not urge GMA to finish the Sual port, extend the North Diversion road, improve the national roads in Pangasinan, and complete the railroad to Pangasinan.
May I call on the advisers of these mayors to dispense some good logical advice to their mayor to prevent them from displaying their limited mental capacity world-wide.
Sabi ng ibang tao ay ang taong gumagawa ng PAKULO ay iyong kulang sa ulo o totoy pa katulad ng bata. Kailangan niya ng pansin.
