I experienced the weirdest dream ever last night.

There she was the lady in red on the dais in all her splendor. She started regaling her audience saying ‘SONAmashet’ just look at what I had accomplished in just 6 years?

To my critics, ‘SONAfabitches’ better stay the hell outta my way or never see another drop dead gorgeous like me in your miserable life. They claimed, I am only dreaming saying, I have neither the wherewithal and temperament turning this country first world in 20 years? Such hogwash this compost doomsayers and belittlers entreating the non believers.

To usher success to this goal, I am excited to announce appointment to my cabinet Mr. Ali Baba. He will be my secretary for Hocus Pocus Magizmos in charge of magic kingdom. Days of carnappers are nearing their end once Mr. Ali Baba makes it official LRT, MRT, Saraos and Franciscos becoming obsolete and to be replaced by state of the art ‘flying carpet’ Gone will be the daily horrendous traffic snarls and the itch of the Arabians to stick it in you know what.

Few years ago on a similar occasion, we witness a success which I have themed ‘bangkang papel’. Today, another success is in progress. The theme is ‘bangkay patay’ which is turning out more popular thanks to my generals.

My critics are again blaming me for people disappearing? Why on earth for my goodness. Even Ringling and Barnum Bailey circus troupe get into this act here today gone tomorrow? It’s all part of being enchantee doing it to the enchandead.

Problem is, critics only have one agenda and that is to hit me where it hurt most. Little do they know I am a survivor of the No Pain No Gain followings. I eat crocodile jerkeys for breakfast?

Ibig kong sabihin mahal kong kababayans, kung pakapalan nang mukha ang trip nila, marami pa silang tablang kakainin.

To my critics I say to you either you accept the grip, or you’ll get the drip. I really thought it was enough to jolt me into my senses.

It turned out, the one that got me shaken up was the rumor of two elected congressmen brothers leading the applauses eager beavers. It wasn’t true.

When TV crew fanned out the gallery, it showed invited orangutans from Sabah Malaysia and rapacious crocodiles from Mindanao singing and dancing ‘let’s have a celebration now’. They were ecstatic the lady in red is one of them. I think I need a roll of Rolaids now.

International Airport in Santa Barbara? Who’s’ kidding who?

Velasco’s idea of having a facility in such a small town with no industries, not enough lost souls as passengers in the surrounding areas, and flood-prone area at that, looks like an Awai scandal in the making.

With Macapagal Airport at Dau at a short distance as the crow flies, is it economically prudent to establish one that will be born out in conflict? Most economists in their right minds wouldn’t think so.

Let’s check into this. This land, Hacienda delos Reyes of around 500 hectares is not enough for an endeavor as complicated as an airport. At this acreage, runways alone cannot be built if the length is not sufficient to accommodate an international flight of 747’s, 777’s or 787’s.

If the government buys the land once a cooked confirmary study is approved, who would be holding an empty bag? Because for sure, this could be a Goliath of a money deal, that would put all the scandals in Pangasinan and Dagupan pale in comparison.

The fundamental reason on establishment is what foreign carriers will support? Who will anchor the operations? The landing and take-off fees and rental of the terminals is paramount to a successful airport, which this razzle-dazzle of an idea Santa Barbara cannot provide.

Are Velasco and Espin-off . . . a tandem of police brains not commercial or economic . . . expecting aliens from Mars on vacation and carriers from Venus?

The perception of Velasco as the giant killer who will battle corruption in Santa Barbara, is wishful. Rumors are abundant his 10 points agenda is staged for the gullible Santa Barbara voter. Nothing moves in town.

The ballyhooed, ” Balon Politica Aliguas Santa Barbara” is becoming a tease. Jueteng is so profitable, that them who calls the shots are pulling P25,000 per day. That’s P750,000 a month. Lots of grease to grease everybody’s hand.

And the Ombudsman promised to be snooping around is nowhere to be found. Last seen he was, ” Tangaytangay ed Pozorrubio”.

Promise everything deliver nothing!

Mr. Pontaoe is missing the point. He continues to question the unquestionable, trying desperately to prove a point.

I will make it simple for you Mr. Pontaoe, and please refrain from using the “big words” out of your Webster dictionary, because the words you use are too huge for my itty-bitty Pangasinan brain to process.

It’s about time that a governor like “The Spines” makes small changes within the Capitol Building. You know why? The majority of the Capitol employees are from Central Pangasinan and they do speak Pangasinan. Most of the people who go in and out of the Capitol speak the dialect. So it only makes sense for the governor to implement such a rule that will work.

You said it won’t work? I think you are wrong! If the Capitol Building is located in Binalonan, or in Urdaneta, and his employees are mostly Ilocano speaking, I am sure, the governor will ask all his employees to speak in Ilocano. The former governor didn’t make a fuss about it in the past, maybe because he doesn’t really care?

Things are different now Mr. Pontaoe. The governor lives in the Urduja Building. He is accessible to his people. He is very much visible. Unlike the former governor who lived in Manila most of his term and only made himself available on Fridays. Now, that is a big difference, don’t you think?

One more thing, “dreams” do come true, only when you make it happen. Big ideas came into reality because someone dreamed of it. Try it, for a change, eh?

The medical old horse Dr. Jesus Canto isn’t only on a roll, he’s on fire. He could burn in Hell.

First, his plan of bringing the drugstore to the barrio which he knew is not only enforceable but financially not feasible. This ill-advised and horrible idea of having to convince the people to be encourage to plant herbs ersatz on what he proposed to do.

How can you incite the fervor of Dagupenos when they are being waylaid to who knows where? If the attitude - typical Filipino - that they can’t even plant a seed of ampalaya or tomato in their backyard how much more to something alien to these people?

Like I said, “Waste of time and money”. Dr. Canto and his clowned-up theories of service. Talking about the poor Filipino, it’s not atypical that they are congested in a small space, where planting is impossible.

Possible Dr. Canto is smoking Panama Red, an herbal substitute that makes him euphoriant oblivious to the consequences. Seems Dagupan is on rough start, when Dr. Canto and his kind are turning to birdbrains and useless nincompoops. Medicine and politics don’t mix. Dr. Canto should know better.

With a city not moving forward . . . no infusion of fresh ideas . . . everything bursting at the seams . . . ineptitude settling in . . . this city is on spiral to oblivion . . . Mayor Al Fartnandez and his ragtag bunch of clowns. It could be worse than The Benjie, that you can imagine.

Begorrah! The Clowncil - again - in all its notoriety?
