As you said the Koreans did it and succeeded. Filipinos can do it too and succeed.
I agree with you about this "Paporma” and "Pabongga" mentality. This mentality could be tapped and be used to get these overseas Filipinos be involved. It just needs to be creatively manipulated to our advantage.
How? Public relations consultants (there are Filipinos probably) could creatively tap it for the purpose.
Yes, I agree… We need a sponsoring organization to request a member of the provincial board and a member of the Dagupan City Council to sponsor a resolution honoring a great Pangasinense who is a our hero- Mr. Ermin Garcia Sr.
Probably the park in Dagupan City should be named Ermin Garcia Sr. Central Park… or the highway being built be called Ermin Garcia Sr. Memorial Highway— a statue of Ermin Garcia Sr. beside Jose Rizal statue (located in the Dagupan City park) is appropriate.
I tremble thinking that this great hero of Pangasinan is not well honored and remembered. LET US LIFT UP HIS LEGACY to inspire the present and future generations.
To Governor Espino, our governor that listens and the mayor of Dagupan City, please, please, please listen to this plea. Let us honor our hereof -Mr. Ermin Garcia Sr., please!!!!!!!
