I suggest to Mayor Lim to exert all diplomatic efforts to get a building permit that’s becoming messy and later on a public headache. If unfinished, the project with iron rods protruding everywhere at the site not only is unsightly but ruins the good image and aesthetics of the City Hall building.

We’re building for the future and such infrastructure creates jobs, a confidence-builder among potential investors and worthwhile destination for tourists and balikbayans.

I’m appealing to Councilor Guadiz and the city engineer to commit themselves to a compromise for the good of Dagupan City.

Building permit is just miniscule to hold up this project. Just let it go and when the city govvernment has the money then buyout the facility ‘pronto’.

I’m a farmer from Brgy Cili, Binalonan and I love Dagupan City, my favorite market place to buy fresh bangus, ar-arosep, malaga, ipusan, Calasiao puto and tansao.

Please give this project a chance and build more (upgrade the Bonuan golf course into a decent country club for visiting tourists and businessmen), the public market needs face-lifting to include toilets that flush and sanitized, walkways tiled with decorative pavers along boulevards, promenades, etc, and a fenced trashbin behind the market).

Eduardo Pontaoe,

You are right. I was thinking of another Illinois politician, who at the present time is a front runner for president.

No, he did not scam money but as a state politician he voted to allow a doctor to kill a baby even if the doctor, while botching a late term abortion, allowed the baby to be born.

This same politician also voted to prosecute a homeowner who shoots an intruder while the home owner is trying to protect his home and family.

Now a U.S. senator, this same person changed his religion from Moslem to Protestant at the start of his political career because he knew that being a non-Christian would be a hindrance to his political career.

Politicians by their very nature, except with few exceptions, stink. I can’t make up my mind who is worse, Jefferson or Obama

Do not come, please!

By +Oscar V. Cruz D. D.

The person of the Holy Father is very dear and endearing. His papal office is most appreciated as it is also most respected in the Catholic world. That is why his presence cannot but be much desired and treasured. More than once, the Philippines was blessed by the visit of the Holy Father. Those singular occasions are still remembered with genuine love and lasting inspiration.
