Pacquiao as legislator

Ms. Ric,

I spend many hours five days a week with Fil/Am veterans and to a man they agree with you that Pacquiao should reserve his talent for the ring. Mr. Pacquiao has brought world recognition to the Philippines. For that we can be thankful, but does he have the knowledge to legislate?

Many questions arise as to his qualification. What is his knowledge of Philippine laws and the country's constitution? How can a person with a sixth grade education debate legislators with collage degrees. Can he use linguistic skills as daftly as he does his pugilistic skills?

It is time for Manny Pacquiao to quit making a fool of himself. He has to realize that he is being used by Arroyo and her cohorts because they know that it will bring them votes. The parades for him after his wins isn't to honor him, it is just another photo ops for the ins of Philippine politics.
