Vatican of jueteng? What exactly does it mean? It sounds good for jueteng but it doesn’t sound good for Vatican at all, is it not?

From what I understand, Vatican is the official residence of the pope in Vatican City or the papal government or the papacy. What does Vatican got to do with the illegal gambling game called jueteng? How can there be a Vatican of jueteng?

“The truth is, not only America-based Filipinos but the whole world want Pacquiao to become the President of the Philippines.”

Sorry Mr. Mendoza, but this statement is totally unfounded bordering absurdity. Here’s one Filipino-American who thinks Pacquiao should stay in the ring doing what he does best: beating men to pulp.

Granted, I will never get “boxing”, but to actually toy with the idea of electing this man to run a country? I have yet to meet or to even hear of one Filipino in my home state to even admit to wanting this boxer represent our native home anywhere outside the boxing arena.

What is it with Filipinos and stardom? Are we that gullible to think that star studded congress will make for a bigger, brighter tomorrow? And journalists abound feed into this frenzy of name-dropping, to accomplish what?
