About Hope, not about me

Ms. Ric, thanks for your clarification. Let me also clarify something with the hope that I will not be misunderstood.
My last post was not meant to criticize you either. I’d like to think that we are sharing ideas here in the forum as Kabaleyans and in the process we are learning from each other. I’d like to think that by networking with people of different or the same creed, we can learn something new everyday. I strongly believe that learning is a life long process of growing together in our beautiful world and by using modern information and communication technology we can break barriers that alienate us like strangers.
Frankly, I really am not looking forward to exchanging these kinds of post either until I saw your post talking about hopes, dreams and doing something about it. I totally agree with you when you said, “There’s absolutely nothing wrong with dreaming, in fact dream high, as high as their minds would let them.”
Because you used the word hope when you said, “I hope that somewhere in that speech she also asked these kids to start doing something with their lives.“
What I said was just for the sake of discussion related to the issues that you presented in your post which was about hope, dream and doing.
In addition, if you note my previous posting closely, you will find that I did not list an array of my good deeds. What I listed was an array of the good deeds done by the more than a thousand members of our organization. If you note closely, you will also find that the projects that I listed have something to do with HOPE which is consistent with the issue that you presented in the forum.
In fact, one of the project’s meaningful slogan, PLANT A TREE OF HOPE, embodies members’ faith and hope and served as the rallying point towards contributing to the realization of a better Philippines. The members of our organization, individually and collectively, have been inspired to pursue voluntary activities for the benefit of some of our compatriots even in our own simple ways. Most of the time, even simple and little things mean a lot to others.
Ms. Ric, I see in you lots of things in common with members of our organization most especially the earnest desire to help others. I hope we can work together with our Kabaleyans to form the Pangasinan Chapter.
