The retake for the 2006 Nurses Licensing Exam is on. All those nurses wanting to come to America to earn a decent living should take it. There’s no escaping the demands of the ANA (American Nurses Association).
According to Labor Secretary Brion, the ANA is not a regulatory body unlike the CGFNS (Commission on Graduates for Foreign Nursing Schools) who can issue work visas can be ignored. How wrong he was?
ANA, for Mr. Brion’s information… if he is so ignorant of it, is the lobbying arm of all nurses in America. It is a private entity walking hand in hand with AMA (American Medical Assn.) and all the biggest lobbying bodies at the capitol. What ANA wants ANA gets. ANA can recommend the annulment of those 2006 examinees and be done with it or start fresh and wait for 2007 examinees.
This voluntary retake that will take place on June 11 and 12 is the utmost in American compassion. Those who will pass come to America and search that American dream. Take the exam which is only the Tests 3 and 5, whatever that is. It’s the right thing to do.
Good luck to all of you!
