Hi Jess, cool ka labat ditan, okey? Don’t be disgusted at the ignorant voters AND these corrupt politicians. It will make going home for a visit that much less exciting or pleasant.

Dr. Jaimie Agbayani. At first, I thought she’s another Hillary Clinton, but didn’t Hillary call the shots at least? And Hillary actually had enough brains to start from a senatorial position before seeking the highest office. Dr. Agbayani has been living with the man making the decisions and swears she’s learned a lot from him. But then didn’t she also say that her husband has a few more projects he wants to oversee but doesn’t have the luxury of time? And because he cannot run anymore (the beauty of the constitution actually serving its purpose) he’s shoving his wife into the limelight. How convenient!

And now, it looks like they’ve counted their chicks before it’s hatched. I think running with Lambino is her best shot, unless of course, she’s too proud to be second fiddle.

Emmanuelle,

Your comments about the political situation is so much the same from the past. I suspect that it would be in the future as well. The opposition is in such a disarray that the administration must be laughing themselves silly. All those politicians are reciting their scripted promises, distributing their T-shirts and campaign stuff. And there is the gullible Pinoy smiling with hands outstretched to receive the goods.

Gone are the days of idealism, or was there ever one? Every person his own, the people in power now are tightening their grips. The voters so easily bought with a song, a promise and a dance. Where else but in the Philippines that a part of a candidate’s repertoire is to sing a song or two? Where will that equate to being a good public servant? Maybe the singing is to lull the fool voter’s senses.

Time and again, these voters CHOSE to be ignorant. There’s nobody to blame but them, for it was them who voted these corrupt politicians into their respective offices. It’s a difficult choice who to be disgusted with, the politician or the ignorant voter. Maybe I should be disgusted with both…

Total denial mode and always in the
starting mode is the answer to graft and corruption, extrajudicial killing, worsening economy, illegal drugs, illegal gambling, etc, etc. by GMA.

The “DREAMER EXTRAORDINAIRE”(Dr. Ex) requires evidence from the individual posters of this forum to prove that these problems of the country are true. Dr. Ex believes he is the authority on the true living conditions of the Filipino people as indicated in his recent posting-many children are happy enjoying and only some are poor.

I heard this common statement many times from many balikbayans who go to shopping malls-”PARANG WALANG NAGHIHIRAP NA FILIPINO AH”. The truth is most of those at the shopping malls are those Filipinos who have the money because they are either from well off family, OFWs, balikbayans, business people, corrupt cops, corrupt politicians, corrupt government officials, smugglers, illegal drug dealers, kidnappers, illegal gambling lords, hired killers, pimps, and sometimes some of the middle class who shop to experience going to large shopping malls.

Can Dr. Ex positively tell us that there are many happy enjoying children and there are only some poor children? What a DREAM?
