Lambino, an unknowing victim

The cat is out the bag. Lambino's e
piphany, at last. What he dreaded most was shoved in his face that his service to Urduja and party are only imaginary. Surprising? Fishy? Naaaaaaaaah! It wouldn't surprise me nothing.

In politics, when you go down that low when Lambino begged Arroyo… publicly… to be the candidate for governor invoking he was a willing and dutiful lapdog and insinuating Jamie Agbayani could be his rightful vice governor, he crossed the line of allegiance. Governor Agbayani can't convince himself in Lambino whose intentions are not only in question but distrustful. And the only person he could trust now to extend the rigmarole, the act, the puppetry…is his wife. Obnoxious. Hell, yes! Only it's all legal. Devilishly clever move.

What's in for Lambino, politically? He couldn't run in the 3rd district for congress even if he would love to. Rachel Arenas is running from Malasiqui and he did endorse her from the get-go unless he changes his mind and do what Tulagan and Soriano both from San Carlos are doing. Possibilities are limitless. He can run as an independent or go along with Espino in his quest to do battle against the establishment. The only thing left for him is go back to Malasiqui… where it all started… lick his wounds and wait and maybe - yeah, maybe - he'll get thrown a morsel of bureaucracy to patch his battered ego.

So sad for those who clamor for a Lambino governorship. Lambino for all his smarts is an unknowing victim in the art of Machiavellianism.
