YMCA-based Dagupan City Karate Team, with a lean but mean team of only 10 players, reaped 4 golds, 3 silvers, and 3 bronzes to grab the 2nd runner-up spot overall in the "6th Pacoy Ortega Memorial Karate Cup" held February 17, 2007 at Pacoy Ortega Gymnasium, San Fernando City La Union.
