Mr. Delfin, are you having difficulty to honestly critique the issues being discussed in my posts just like what I am doing to your posts that you still need to fabricate another untrue statements allegedly said by others? Nobody can equal your childish behavior by calling in your post many Filipinos as ignorant and any writer in the Punch as nuts. That is downright spreading lies. Your false statements in a highly regarded Sunday Punch set yourself as a very bad example to others and a very good reason why they should not believe everything they read or heard.

You are right, Mr. Delfin, it is time for you to move on. To the right path, I hope. Thanks for your suggestion but do not worry because I am always moving on, always on the go traveling a lot lately enjoying great Canadian outdoors, sunny California in Los Angeles and the many beautiful places in the Philippines. Thanks to Philippine Airlines for giving me Mabuhay Miles membership card. I enjoy the arroz caldo and other delicious Filipino foods and drinks served for frequent flyers in their Mabuhay lounge.

Who else do you expect will take responsibility to your words in the forum but you? Standing by your words does not make any difference because it will not bring it any closer to the truth unless you have concrete evidence to support what you are saying.

You are right in saying that 7-11 or McDonald fire their employees if they are incompetent or are caught stealing. But the employer must have evidence and legit reasons to fire them. Philippine government is no exception that is why Marcos and Estrada were fired by their employer, the Filipino people. I doubt if they will do the same to PGMA mainly because Mr. Delfin, Mr. Carrera, the opposition, militants or some religious leaders said that she is an incompetent president or she cheated in the 2004 presidential election.

Filipinos are smarter than you think. They need facts not opinions. It is easy to say that PGMA is an incompetent president or cheated in the previous election even if you did not witness anything but that is just an opinion not a fact. It cannot be accepted as the truth without solid evidence that will support the allegations. People are very cautious nowadays and I could not blame them because of the many sources of false allegations and mudslinging that are coming from those who have tendency to spread lies or unproven, fabricated and untrue statements.

Contrary to what you said, I did not miss reading on Arroyo’s performance as a president. It is not my style to do what you, Mr. Carrera and others are doing to her, slinging or throwing mud by saying unpleasant things trying to make others have low opinion about her.

In addition, it is not for me to judge PGMA. It is the job of the Filipino majority, or as a whole, it is an ultimate and decisive responsibility of Filipinos as a sovereign nation. I am confident that Filipinos can make the right decisions because I am not like Mr. Delfin who regarded many Filipinos as ignorant.

In my recent trips to the Philippines, I have not seen any of those he said in the Punch Forum are ignorant Filipinos. I have not seen any among the hundreds of PAL passengers coming home to the Philippines full of hopes and dreams for the country and its people. I have not seen in the faces of the airline staff who are full of smiles and tender loving care to make their fellow Filipinos feel comfortable during their long trip going back home. Definitely, I have not seen among the many Filipinos in the country, inside busy shopping malls, offices, restaurants, hotels, tourist spots or resorts and even in the remote country sides with the country folks.

What I noticed many times during my stay in the Philippines are happy people enjoying the company of their friends and relatives with their modern gadgets doing too much textings. It makes me wonder why he carelessly calls many Filipinos as ignorant or writer in Punch Forum as nuts and what makes him think that he is any better than the rest of us?

Well, I am just wondering and pondering vigilantly what are being said in the Punch trying to admire those who deserved to be admired. Have a nice day.
