Ms. Ric:

You're eyesight, is 20/20. That railing you mentioned is too low to prevent any youngster to go overboard. Nevertheless, if you poke right into the heart of the matter that overpass is not a boon to the walking public.

Let me explain. A crossover walkway is around 13 to 15 feet high at the highest to allow rigs to pass underneath. To the public ascending that stairway to go to the other side is not the easy way out, when they can cross the street without hindrance which is only few meters wide. It's too high. Why waste time and effort?

The "civil engineer" who built that is as dumber than a pile of rocks. A crossover walkway must have graduation. To facilitate easy access it should be curvaceous on both ends meaning, it would be like a rainbow engineering wise. He could know it was undoable because there is not enough space. How about the handicapped? Was their concerns addressed when the idea to build this boondoggle was hatched?

So easy to throw money around like pancakes during election time. This thing was easier to build with all the mistakes than cooking a pinakbet or pinapaitan.
