Okay gentlemen, I really, really tried to stay out of this. I kept hoping the three of you would get in the shower (no, no, not together) and douse yourselves with cold water.
Mr. Pontaoe, congratulations! You managed to hold out longer than I. Are you feeling well, or is that Chicago weather dampening your spirit?
Mr. Oriel, I’m certain that Mr. Delfin and Mr. Carrerra did not start this whole debacle, and neither did you. They are just re-iterating what EVERYBODY is saying about the Philippine government. And by everybody, I mean people on the street who know a thing or two about world news. Have you been reading what THIS paper is saying? And these writers live there day in and day out. THEY are living the nightmare that we perceive across the ocean.
Of course we’re all hoping that our dear homeland, our birthplace is able to get out from the rut it’s in. Who in their right mind would wish utter dread and misery to their own people?
C’mon, I’m fairly certain that we’re all educated here. Mr. Carrerra and Mr. Delfin, can we pleeease be a little PASSIONATE? Look, there are a couple of good things coming out of the Philippines, let’s celebrate! And I think, somehow, we owe Juan Dela Cruz Palaris an apology here. Mr. Velasco, you certainly told us.
So, gentlemen, we don’t all have to get along, but can we just change the subject already? Like, now?
