Mr. Oriel:

Using the same source (Transparency International), the following are the ranking of the Philippines based on the CORRUPTION PERCEPTIONS INDEX: 2001-65 out of 98 countries, 2004-106 out of 145, 2005-120 out of 158 and 2006-126 out of 168.

Had ESTRADA continued to be in power, things could be worst than now but the question is: Is GMA (an economist) performing to make the Philippines much better now than during ESTRADA (just a mere B-movie actor and a dropout)? The ranking above from the source that you cited speaks for itself.

Now Mr. Oriel, tell me who is being untruthful. Next time, do your research better, stick to the issue and be truthful. A may not be as corrupt as E, but if A allows corruption to flourish, it will have the same or worst effect to the people as E.
