When words can destroy people

Of course, Mr. Delfin, we are all entitled to our own opinion. We also reserve the right to either accept or refuse the opinion of others depending on their truthfulness, ethical value, righteousness, usefulness and sense. We must not believe everything we read or heard. Some of them can poison or corrupt our minds.
Some symptoms that I know are useless anxieties, stressful life and deadly election fever. Words are foods for the brain but there are many places, especially the internet, where people spread lies and use obscene and defamatory words. We must be careful because foods like drugs or medicines can either make us well or harm us. The pen is mightier than the sword. Words can definitely enlighten or destroy people.
Greek physician Hippocrates, aka Father of Medicine said, “Let food be your medicine and let your medicine be food." We need food for nourishment. Unfortunately, there are plenty of existing unhealthy and toxic foods that can poison the mind, body or spirit.
