To Mr. Jess Delfin:
I completely agree with your posting about the system and the solution-one execution of a heinous crime (especially plunder) a day will start the fixing of the problem away. They can have the best form of government or constitutional changes as often as desired, but if the very basic laws, no matter how imperfect they maybe are, if not enforced by those in authority especially the President, or followed by its citizens, the systems will break down.
The people know those politicians qualified to be executed under the previous death penalty law defining heinous crime to include plunder of 50 million pesos, but no one will even lift a finger.
We all know who will be the Prime Minister if the parliamentary form of government is adopted and I believe the Philippines will be even worse than in its present form. As long as the Filipino people maintain the present attitude (allowing the violators, corrupt, plunderers to go unpunished), no bright future is in sight. Not even the dreamers, the millions and millions of Filipinos with good heart, or even Cha-cha, Boogie, Tango or any gimmick they can think of can fix the problem. Only a "STRONG WILL OF THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE AND A LEADER" CAN CHANGE IT.
It will require changes in its leadership as often as necessary and sometimes bloody consequences until the true leader is found. The hungry Filipinos are shedding their blood now slowly (being sucked by the corrupt) and are still fantasizing in the PHILIPPINE WONDERLAND. DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY, KEEP ON DREAMING AND DANCING THE CHA-CHA-CHA is the present policy of the PHILIPPINES under GMA.
