Voting at the embassy

Yes…..you can cast absentee ballot in Philippine elections while you're out the country or living outside of it. Residency is not required as long as you have a valid Philippine passport. According to the consulate here in Chicago, dual citizens can vote.

The catch. The consulate doesn’t send ballots to your place of residence. You must show your face on Election Day. So, a Filipino who lives in Louisiana or Nebraska will have a problem. Making the run, is it worth it? I don't know about the people of the PCG Frisco but I can vouch for the employees at the PCG Chicago. You can still get in touch with them. Very accommodating.
