To Edwin:

People have different interpretations and purpose on why they share their comments. Others post their comments out of frustrations on what is happening around them; they do it because they want to present themselves as the well informed one; they do it for personal gratification; they do it just to remind or inform the public, etc.

However, often times, comments become a personal attack. Call it human nature. Like what my former teachers said "people belong to the highest form of animals" and maybe that's the reason why people sometimes act like animals attacking each other. Most of the time people ride on their emotions irrationally. They want to deliver their message with anger to relay the message. Some find it difficult to focus on the good of others or certain things. It is always easy to attack and berate and this kind of attitude is difficult to change. They do it for personal satisfaction.

Funny though that most of the time when someone dies, people mostly find good words to say about them. The sad thing is the dead can't hear those praising words. They offer their apologies when it can't be heard.

Yes, you are correct Edwin, as an educator, my former colleagues and administrators always told us to develop the attitude to look and praise the good but not totally ignoring the bad.
