The present system (Presidential) is the most appropriate system of government for our country, because check and balance is maintained. We do not have any problem with our system of government. The problem is the people running the government.

With the suggested system (Parliamentary) the rule will be dependent upon one group only. If there is corruption in the present Presidential System, it will be ten folds under the suggested system.

Maintain the present system…. change those responsible for the corruption and weakness of the Philippines.

Hooray for House Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr. Whether his action of issuing Philippine Health Insurance cards was done for political reasons or not, it is a smart move in the right direction.
