What happened to cookie bake-offs?

A shoot fest for ladies only! I find this quite disturbing and offensive. Here’s a bunch of ladies using feminine wiles to do what? Get attention, be funny, or heaven forbid – actually placed in the top ten of the most absurd category there ever was, a shoot fest. Isn’t this an oxymoron? Whether or not they’re acting is beside the point. The enormity of shooting someone accidentally because “oh she forgot not to aim at someone” tops the cake. Isn’t there some kind of code of ethics as far as handling a gun?
I have no problem with anyone’s right to bear arms, but have the right attitude that goes with it, ladies. Ignorance – when it comes down to handling guns (loaded at that) is NOT funny.
Let’s also look at the characters involved: Bataoil – isn’t it his job to protect the public? Lady journalists, moms, – is this kind of behavior really what you want to project to the public, to kids enamored by what they see in you? Kiwanis club – it’s for a good cause, I grant you that – but whatever happened to cookie bake-offs or walk-a-thons?
