Saludos for the Governor not to tolerate this cancer that proliferates in Pangasinan society. Putting his put foot down to subjugate a debilitating disease needs the chutzpah that he can summon in his command. The Bishop, too. His uncompromising stand in his fight against all forms of gambling… of the poor… is worth noticing. But will it hold? STL is dead? As long as these monsters who finance this illegality are not prosecuted to the fullest, that possibility of a comeback is there to haunt everybody. What happen now that Agbayani is leaving the scene? Who would be next in line to carry on his legacy? Is there anybody out there in the political circles of Pangasinan who is qualified to do such a task?If Pangasinan cannot deliver on this crucial part of its political life…then we can say this STL thing, is just hibernating. Lambino said, “The agreement is not to endorse if the governor doesn't approve". Sign of things to come? So, if the next governor approves, the provincial board will go along. Back to square one. Reading between the lines what Oscar Lambino, the vice governor is talking about, it is safe to say that STL or jueteng . . . is a cash cow.
