Councilor Guadiz,

It is good to read on the paper and on the website that a city official like you is concerned about the illegal activities of some citizens setting up illegal buildings along the rivers. This has been happening over a long period of time and some officials are blind or the have eyes but they refuse to see what is happening around them for fear that it can affect their political career.

Mr. Guadiz, your concerns with regards to illegal buildings along Pantal and Tuliao is commendable. Let us read it on the paper and website that your are the one and only councilor Guadiz who does the action unlike other politicians deliver only lip service. Let us see how you are able to muscle these powerful businessmen who are influential in doing what they do. I know it is rare in the Philippines to find government officials who are competent enough to do their job and maybe you are one of a kind.

We look forward for the results of your investigation and pray that hopefully bring to justice those who always gets away doing illegal activities. Good Luck to you.

I came across your website today, while searching about Pangasinan language. I wonder where I can get online texts of formal articles written in the Pangasinan language? I’m trying to collect translations of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) for the languages of the Philippines. However, I can’t find Pangasinan, one of the major languages. I would greatly appreciate it if you can give me some articles written in Pangasinan language (or links to websites) that I can use in place of the UDHR translation.

Thank you.
