To men & women in uniform, thank you!

Ms. Ric
9 Nov 2006

Thank you to all our military men a
nd women who ever served and who are still serving ever so faithfully. You sacrificed being away from your family and friends, underwent the heartaches of displacement, and bravely performed your duty of protecting your country and its civilians for the sake of MY freedom. Thank you.

And to those we’ve lost, here are some words from Don McLean: The grave that they dug him had flowers Gathered from the hillsides in bright summer colours, and the brown earth bleached white at the edge of his gravestone. He’s gone. When the wars of our nation did beckon. A man barely twenty did answer the calling. Proud of the trust that he placed in our nation, He’s gone, But Eternity knows him, and it knows what we’ve done.

No sour kick, no sweet zing

Ms. Ric
9 Nov 2006

Okay, Emmanuelle, I’ll bite. I’m th
inking this marriage may not have had the sour kick of a lemon, but it also didn’t have the sweet zing of an orange. I’m sure I’m missing something here. Do share.

The best thing that happened to man

Eduardo Pontaoe
9 Nov 2006

First and foremost, starting Nov. 13, 2006, there would be icing on the cake on people like Filipinos whose life activity is enhanced by night. The “morning-after-pill” is coming into line in most drugstores in America.

Plan B, the pill, is available over the counter as long as you are 18 years of age. It reduces the danger of pregnancy by almost 89%. Those who play with fire, who love to mingle with the chicks can be assured the freedom and confidence of having no doubt the seeds of doom can be implanted by an errant lothario. Plan B as in “Babaero”.

The XYC of Plan B: 1) For unprotected sex. It is intended for emergency only not birth control. 2) Plan B works best taken within 12 hours of sex but effective to 72 hours. There are two pills. The first pill should be taken at once after sex and the second pill 12 hours after the first. 3) It works by preventing ovulation, fertilization or implantation. 4) Dizziness… abdominal pain… nausea… tiredness… menstrual changes… breast tenderness and vomiting are the after effects. 5) Plan B is different from RU-486. Ru-486 terminates pregnancy while Plan B prevents them. This is the best that happened to man since he started burning himself up.

The answer is GMA

Jermias Andrade Carrera
9 Nov 2006

Further to my previous posting about the simplistic reasons how China’s greatness was attained as reported by the PCE is the fact that aside from the “one-child per family” policy is a recent policy of “one dog per family”.

In the Philippines, especially under GMA and the Catholic Church, the policy is multiply like amoeba-bahala na ang DIYOS. GMA’s policy to stop corruption is always in the “START” mode or “REVERSE”. How many times did she make the pronouncements that she “WILL STOP CORRUPTION”?

So those delegations of GMA including the PCE were actually NOT THINKING when they were wondering why CHINA did it and Philippines did not. The answer is right with them-GMA. THINK ABOUT IT.

Grow up double-0 7

Eduardo Pontaoe
9 Nov 2006

Mr. Jeremias Andrade Carrera:
Ju
n Velasco has a fetish for over blowing the situation without proper knowledge. He thinks he could get away with it. He’s been like that since we’d known him. A faulty musical instrument… a used tire… an engine burning oil… an anathema to Sunday Punch’s brand of journalism.

At his age, is it possible to teach a worn old dog new tricks? It reminds me of Q telling James Bond, “Grow up double-0 7″.
