I wish I could place a collect call to God to implore his infinite understanding and kindness to please come down from heaven and save the Filipinos from this runaway plague disguising as politicians. Some people might tend to describe the plague as ravenous rats but let’s call it for what it is - kleptomaniacs!

Do you ever wonder what it would take short of God himself showing up telling these thieves in government to shape up or burn in hell, to make them finally see the light? Don’t we know the only reason most of these sleezebags are in government is, they could not make it on their own let alone milk private employers? For most of these scums, It’s easier to milk government institutions and so they spend a fortune to get elected knowing their investment will multiply hundred folds in no time they don’t even have to sweat unlike the ‘isang kahig isang tuka’ variety type of Filipinos doting the landscape.

If there is one more thing we Filipinos should be thankful for is our having only two weather seasons. Summer and rainy days thank heavens! Can you imagine our country having winter months? Having this kind of government and leaders who regard social consciousness (or lack thereof) an aberration, mortuaries and cemetery plot owners will have a field day once frozen bodies shows up for roll calls? What a shame really a lovely country such as ours with resilient and hospitable people, it deserves better than these mediocres and errants good only at making lives of so many miserable.

Finally, manong Joe deV, please lang, give it up and see the light for once. Being prime minister of a poor country with burgeoning population that can hardly afford the price of galungong, it is time you and your fellow kissamygloass give the people the much needed break. Our current governing system is one that should work to benefit the people if only you and others will stop from making it not work - let it work - make it work and we will be proud of you and your legacy.
