In re: your article of October 22, 2006 (SUNDAY PUNCH) about Monsignor Leon Bitanga’s seminary, priesthood and retirement, I remembered him as my “spiritual adviser” when we attended the first cursillo movement in the held in Manaoag, Pangasinan.

In addition, the late Ermin Garcia, Sr., former editor of the Sunday Punch and the father of incumbent editor of the Sunday Punch, Mr. Ermin F. Garcia, Jr., was also in attendance.
