A municipal councilor of this town died after the motorcycle he was driving bumped a camachile tree along sitio Cabatuan in barangay Sto. Domingo on Oct. 14 around 3:35 p.m.

The victim was Municipal councilor Regulo Collado, 43, of barangay Gueset Norte.

Regulo came from a baptismal party where he was one of the godfathers where he drank his fair share of liquor. While speeding on his way home, with his back rider, Albert Cayabyab, 26, he tried to avoid a parked car and hit the tree instead.

He was immediately rushed to Don Laureano Perez Clinic but was pronounced dead on arrival. His companion was unharmed. — EVA
