Oppose the Bayambang sanitary landfill

I am one of the people here in abroad opposing the Sanitary Landfill for Bayambang. We've been exchanging messages at http://www.pangasinan.org/bayambang/ in regards to this. Our relatives in Bayambang will attend the upcoming Public Hearing on October 20, 2006, 9:00 AM at the Bayambang Municipal Grounds. We need your help to please join this meeting to be able to hear our kabaleyan's voices in regards to this issue. Here's one of the message that was posted in our Bayambang Message Board:

UPDATE FR BKB (Bayambang Kontra Basura):

We have already submitted our opposition to the BASURA PROJECT to the provincial board in Lingayen and that will be the basis of the PUBLIC HEARING on Oct 20, 9am at the municipal grounds. We have been informing all sectors of the community to attend so that our VOICES be heard but sad to say the chief of police has been going around discouraging the people not to attend especially the students, this has been the attitude of the powers that be since BKB has been informing the people about the BASURA PROJECT. I know for a fact that they do not want the people to know the real issues… BUT WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO SPEAK UP TO UNIFY AND REGISTER OUR OPPOSSITION TO THIS BASURA PROJECT… so therefore my friends, dr. P, and all the rest of my kabaleyan out there, PLEASE, PLEASE CALL UP YOUR RELATIVES AND FRIENDS HERE IN BAYAMBANG TELL THEM TO JOIN US AND ATTEND THE PUBLIC HEARING!!!
