No matter how anyone would call it, the last PRC nurses' board exam is TAINTED. That means, folks, everyone is a suspect. The only way to regain the credibility back is to fire all of the PRC personnel in charge of the exams is to skin them alive and feed them to the sharks or crocodiles. ALL who had participated on the exams should retake the whole test again at no cost. Why would the PRC not conduct the test like the NCLEX is beyond understanding. It only make sense that since most nurses would like to be employed overseas anyway, the nursing schools should adopt the US nursing curriculum and have the board testing under the same standards as the U.S. demands of its nurses.
As our esteemed Texas nurse Mr. Darius Rayos could attest to, there's no way that anyone could cheat on the tests. On another note, Mr. Rayos should file a complaint with the Texas Board of Nursing Examiners since his name does not appear on the agency's online verification.
The Arroyo flip flop on the nurses' exams is so typical of her. It just shows her incompetence in everything she does. This woman just doesn’t have the credibility of a president. Urong-sulong, anyone? She should just be a Gloria Labandera.
The remark of Mr. Duque that it is un-Filipino to retake the test because the parents of the successful examinees had already celebrated and really spent for it is a crock of bull. We are talking credibility here, Mr. Duque. I for one would not want anyone of these test takers to be my nurse until they had retaken and passed their test. How about you, Mr. Duque?
Another thing that should be taken out is the dumb oath taking ceremonies. Does that make them better nurses? For all I know, there is no requirement of anyone who had passed the NCLEX to take an oath. It's so Filipino to take an oath of office or profession.
Like the oath these elected officials take before they assume their positions, they really live up to it. Yeah, right!
