Mr. Gringo Sandiego:GMA's hesitance in going along with her stalwart supporter Gonzalo Duque on not retaking another nursing exam is based on common sense. She is unsure of the morality of approval when she knew that that exam was tainted and cannot be sanctioned even by presidential decree. Let the chips fall where they may.
Having the adulation of your school and Gonzalo Duque himself and getting pulled down on your butt with a thud is hard to swallow. Your ego is tarnished and everything you worked for is suspect. You should know by now what…a drop of oil would do to a bucket of water. Undrinkable. You cannot have your cake and eat it, too.
Calm down. Don't get excited. Chill out. If you got nothing to hide, take another exam. It's the right thing to do. Show to the world your mettle… what you are made off. And if you could do what you did the first time… so much the better… that you Gringo… is made of steel. Fail it or get a mediocre grade will put you into the abyss of shame and the world of Nirvana… the falsity of your existence. You are a goner blown away by the untruth.
Now, your grubstaker Gonzalo Duque is fighting hard to undo what was done. He argued that re-taking the exam is "unFilipino" on the grounds that money was already spent in the celebration of your feat. He also demanded that the students who passed the exam should go on with their lives like nothing happened. It does not get any worse than that. This is what you should do. If you pass the exam with flying colors forego the party, it was done.
To proceed with your life what Gonzalo Duque wanted, tell him to go to hell. Be a man free from the likes of him. And remember… life is a bitch.
