LINGAYEN - The month-long 106th anniversary of the Civil Service Commission on the theme “Katapatan ng Lingkod Bayan…. Pahalagahan” kicked off at the Capitol grounds here last Sept. 4.

Gov. Victor Agbayani enjoined all government employees to support the national celebration.

“As government servants, it is our responsibility to become part of the various development efforts not only for our province but for our country as well as by doing our job with utmost honesty and dedication,” Agbayani said.

CSC Provincial Director John Rivera said one of the several activities lined up for this year’s celebration is the Quiz Bee to be held Sept. 28 at the Tesda conference Hall. At least two employees in each provincial department are invited to join the quiz. Cash prizes and trophies await the winners.

The highlight of the CSC celebration is the awarding of certificates of recognition to outstanding employees and contributions for its Honor Awards Program.
