Mr. Aacjacinto:

Emmanuelle and Ms. Ric are pseudonyms…. pen names… a NOM DE PLUME. Used only in the literary world not to reveal the true identity of the writer.

NOM DE GUERRE, is a war name used only during war or hostilities to cover up the leadership for intelligence purposes. An example: 1) Iosif Vissarionovich Dzugashvili, was Joseph Stalin. He adopted "Stalin" as his nom de guerre to elude the Tsarist police though he was captured and exiled to Siberia. 2) Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, was Vladimir Lenin. His "Lenin" was used as a nom de plume and as a nom de guerre to keep him out of reach of the Czarist secret service though he went into hiding in Switzerland.
