Nice shot Butch Uka. Congratulations. A Pulitzer Prize candidate of a photo shoot. If the police top dog of Dagupan and The Benjie would deny that jueteng does not exist, throw this picture in their faces.The monster of jueteng is unstoppable. It is alive and embedded among the poor people of Dagupan and the whole of Pangasinan. Bishop Cruz should know by now he is fighting a battle he cannot win.
Legalization is the only solution to this social disease. Let it pay its gambling tax, create jobs and operate under the watchful eye of the law.
This is a wakeup call for the Provincial Board….damn the religious right… the bleeding hearts, it must be addressed with the urgency of a pregnant mother on her 9th month.
To all of you who are against legalization, let me say this; shut up, stay on the side, don’t block progress and watch us bring the province to the 21st century.
