Vicky,

You’re now at the epitome of retirement living, bi-coastal at that. Except that water clogged Dagupan didn’t quite measure up to what you had in mind. Hopefully, when the water subsides, its gems will surface again as they always do. I was there three years ago at Christmas time, and Dagupan was a sight to behold. The people, the sights, the merriment, and all those “eats” left an impression to be treasured.

We complain a lot (myself included) about Philippines in general, Dagupan in particular, but that “coming home” feeling, especially after a long absence is an elation like no other. I’m sure you’ll be out and about in no time. Do let us know when you find those, must-do, must-see, must-visit locales (especially eating establishments). Enjoy, good luck, and God bless.
